Forest Hill Restaurant is located at the beginning of the territory of Okhta Park in a building with panoramic windows, in an incredibly picturesque location by the water, surrounded by tall pine trees.
The concept of the restaurant was inspired by its location: we wanted to create a harmonious symbiosis of the surrounding nature with Scandinavian cuisine, interior, countryside, and eco-friendliness.
To emphasise the above, in the interior we have used only natural materials and textures that are visually and tactilely pleasing. For example, we have used terracotta tiles in the heart of the main room, the open kitchen and bar; solid oak for the hall seating, and textured plaster on the walls, alluding to the Scandinavian mountains. The centrepiece of the room is a tall triple fireplace with an open fire coming down from the ceiling. The crackling of the logs and the warmth of the fire enhance the effect of the countryside serenity.
There are no superfluous elements in the restaurant, so nothing would distract the visitors from the main thing: the amazing natural food, the surrounding nature, and the measured country life.
